Microsoft Power BI

Power BI is a business data analytics application that has been offered as a free addition to Office 365 since 2015.

Originally based on Power Query, Power Pivot and Power View (all Excel add-ins), with a clean new UI, Power BI has since grown into a powerful tool in its own right, and is now part of the Microsoft Power Platform.

With interactive dashboards and reports, enterprise data connectivity (both on-premise and cloud based) and scheduled refresh, Power BI is fast becoming the ‘go to’ data analysis tool for businesses around the world.

Microsoft have also started to integrate Power BI with the rest of Office 365. You can embed reports in SharePoint pages and PowerApps. You can connect workflows to it using Flow. There is even a Power BI tab in Microsoft Teams.
